Futon mattresses support the spine and our body in general, more correctly, they do not contain metal parts (springs), nor chemicals (glues, etc.). Futon mattresses follow the tradition of hundreds of years of Japanese tradition and are made by hand with the old technique one by one. The fabric is made of 100% cotton. It is not waterproof. If necessary, use a dry cloth to wipe it.

We take care not to get the mattress wet. We do not place hot objects on the mattress. We use a protective waterproof mattress cover. We ventilate the room frequently.
